Job Description

Under the direction of the OMF Facilities Director, the Facilities Operations & Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring ensure that City-owned and leased facilities are clean, safe, and effective workspaces and spaces for the general public. Specifically, the O&M Manager is responsible for ensuring a positive customer/user experience, and for ensuring the physical and financial performance of DAM’s facilities via the direction, organization, and supervision of Facility Portfolio Managers, and through the prioritization and allocation of other resources as appropriate. The O&M Manager’s team consists of approximately 25 managers, supervisors, professional, and building trades staff in total. This position also manages multiple condominium agreements and serves on condo association boards to ensure the City’s best interests are served. 
The O&M Manager develops and leads staff; assigns work to staff; supervises staff to ensure work is performed in a safe manner to established expectations; and addresses performance issues. In addition, this position works with service providers to ensure that contracted scopes of work are completed on time, according to prescribed service levels, and in compliance with federal, state, and local laws, codes, regulations, and policies.
